Project Manager in Heavy Civil Construction

We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in Heavy Civil Construction to join our staff.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and Scheduling
  • Monitor Field Progress
  • Ensure coding is being performed correctly
  • Oversee and negotiate vendor and subcontractor purchase orders and agreements
  • Review and follow up on costs, billing, as-builts
  • Change Orders/Submittals
  • Project Close-out

Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • 10+ years experience as a Project Manager in the Heavy Civil Construction field
  • Thorough understanding of standard construction practices, process and methods
  • Excellent Computer and Communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Senior Estimator in Heavy Civil Construction

We are a Heavy Civil / Environmental Construction company looking for an experienced Estimator to join our staff.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

  • Research available projects, gather all details about each project, make sure we are prequalified and/or submit any necessary paperwork to become qualified.
  • Create RFQs, examine plans and specs, perform take-offs
  • Complete cost portion of a bid using Bid2Win estimating software.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • 10-15 years of experience as an Estimator in the Civil Environmental field.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Be thorough in calculations of costs
  • Have the determination to work needed hours to compile complete and concise bids.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong Computer skills, including Bid2Win, Agtek.

AP and Payroll Administrator

We are a Heavy Civil / Environmental Construction company looking for an experienced AP and Payroll Administrator to join our staff.

The position will involve diversified administrative duties for the Financial Department, as well as assisting all other departments as needed. Daily tasks include all aspects of Accounts Payable and Payroll. Duties include entering invoices, processing checks, reconciling with the general ledger, and reconciliations; Certified Payroll, and Compliance/Workforce Reporting; weekly payroll Union and non-Union. Construction and Sage 300 experience is a plus.


In addition, general duties include answering phones, filing, e-mail management, miscellaneous correspondence, and generating/processing daily mail and shipped items. These duties also include maintaining office supplies, office maintenance, and equipment to promote efficiency.


The individual will also be the liaison between the employees and our IT company, as well as the vendors involved with the office supplies, equipment, and maintenance.

The ideal candidate must have excellent time management and organizational skills and be able to work on multiple projects with little supervision. The individual must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent computer skills, and be adaptable to new programs and tasks.


We are looking for someone who is a team player and willing to go above and beyond the requirements to make sure the job is completed on time and correctly.


Must have experience in Admin roles.
